“We are Amy and Michael James, the owners of Doodlebug Academy. Amy is in the role of the director, working with teachers, families, and the kids, while Michael manages business finances and dealings, building maintenance, and other tasks.
We moved to Cache Valley in November 2009 with our three children (Justin, Christopher, and Chloe) and have loved living in the valley. We are very pleased to provide our friends and neighbors with the best childcare, preschool, private kindergarten, summer camp, and school-age programs available anywhere else in the valley.
We designed our building with childcare and children in mind. We are certain that you will agree that it is a wonderful place for your children to explore, learn, and grow during the hours they are unable to be with their parents.

I have been in the food service industry for almost 15 years now, and there is something about cooking that I just love. I am married and have been blessed with a little boy. We live in Franklin, Idaho. We have lived there for almost five years already. When I’m not at Doodlebug Academy, I love spending time with my family—going on RZR rides,
camping and sitting around a fire, going for drives up the canyon, or just chilling at home. I look forward to keeping a full belly and a smile on all children now and in the future here at Doodlebug Academy.”

Later, after having children, I went into child development with an emphasis on special needs. I worked at Cache County Schools for 16 years as a paraprofessional and in special ed preschool. After leaving the District, I came to Dooodlebug because I love working with children. Currently, I am an infant teacher, and I love being with the babies I like spending time with my granddaughter, hiking, camping, and crafting.”

”My name is Lori Greer, and I have been a childcare professional for 30 years. I love to learn about how children develop throughout the years and how to help them do that in the best way possible. I have worked in several childcare centers during my time as a professional and also ran my own successful daycare in my home for 20 years. Over this time, I have come to understand the best ways to reach children and how to remind them of how unique and special they are. As the receptionist at Doodlebug Academy, I get to interact with many of the parents and children each day and I love to see them learn and get to know each of them individually. I love to try to educate the teachers as I share my years of experience and to help the administrators in whatever way I can. I absolutely love what I do and count my self fortunate to come to work everyday with hugs awaiting me from the children I have met over the years. ”
